Long before they moved downtown to the Oviatt Building, Barry Milofsky and Tom Michali of M2A Architects had a small office in an old  bungalow near Hollywood Boulevard.  One day they came to the Coffee Shop for lunch and brought their friend developer Charles Loveman (or he brought them?). It was really crowded and when they suggested that I find more space, I told them that I had, but the deal wasn’t going through and the next day I would have to cancel my escrow. When I told them it was the Little Country Church of Hollywood property, they said, “oh, we know that place really well”,  you can’t cancel. Little did I know what lay ahead.
