Right from the moment we opened the Coffee Shop, Edith Fellows came by almost everyday and parked herself at the counter.  Toasted English muffin, coffee and the L.A. Times crossword puzzle was her morning ritual.  We made the muffin and coffee, she brought the paper.  Edith moved to  Hollywood with her grandmother  in 1927 when she was only 4 years old.  She appeared in silent movies, the theatre, Hollywood movies, and television.  She passed away last year at the age of 88.
