We were never interested in celebrities per se.  When the Coffee Shop first opened we worked so many hours we rarely watched TV or saw any movies. If you were a regular customer of the coffee shop that automatically made you a celebrity to us.  One day we saw a photo of one of our regulars in the L.A. Times. We cut it out and saved it. We wanted him to sign it the next time he came in.   During the slow times we read the magazines we sold in the old liquor store and we started spotting regular customers so often  we soon had a bulging file of photos.  I guess the day Adam Sandler came in we simply pulled this cover out of the file and asked him to sign it.  Actually everyone we ever asked to sign a photo happily obliged.  Everybody except one.
